Offered for sale is a remarkably well-preserved and unrestored 1978 Porsche 930 Turbo 3.3 Coupé, finished in the rare and desirable Mocca Brown over its original cork-colored perforated leather sport seats. Introduced in 1978, this color combined with the factory-option electric sunroof gives the car a timeless and sophisticated appearance.

This Turbo was built in December 1977 and delivered new to Volkswagen of America in Portland for the U.S. market. The car was sold to its first owner in 1978, followed by a second owner in 1983. In 1986 it was acquired by Mr. Johnson, who kept the car for nearly 25 years and meticulously documented every aspect of its maintenance and care.

In 2012, the car returned to Europe with its full traceable history. Since 2020, it has been part of a Porsche enthusiast’s private collection and has continued to receive careful mechanical attention. Today, the car remains unrestored, wearing nearly all original paint and preserving its authentic period character.

Technically, this 930 Turbo is in top condition. It runs, drives, and shifts exactly as a well-maintained early Turbo should. The engine is dry, tight, and strong, and the gearbox performs beautifully. The car comes with nearly €16,000 in recent invoices, confirming extensive and proper maintenance.
