One of the most famous and well-regarded Porsches of all time, the original 911 Turbo (fondly referred to as the “930”, its internal chassis code, by aficionados) took the company from maker of somewhat quaint sports cars to one known for its technological prowess and incredible performance. While Ferraris and Lamborghinis of the time were still considered quite fragile, a 911 Turbo could easily be used as a daily driver such was its reliability and level of comfort. While initial cars offered a Turbocharged 3.0L Flat-6 producing 260hp, the company increased displacement to 3.3L, added an intercooler, and numerous other updates over the years so that the car remained relevant. Today, any well-maintained 930 is an exceptional car to drive and enjoy, especially considering they have remained intensely desirable from the day they were released.
