Mrs. Rose Anita S. purchased this Porsche brand new in 1976 from the first independent Porsche dealer in the United States, Vasek Polak Porsche, Manhattan Beach, CA. She owned the car from 1976 to 1993, after which it was brought to the Netherlands.

The 912E was only produced for one year. This California ‘Blue Plate’ car is number 1577 out of a total of only 2092 produced—making it extremely rare!

In sunny California, amidst the rugged ocean winds and palm trees of Manhattan Beach, a brand-new Porsche 912E was purchased in 1976 by Mrs. Rose Anita S. It was a special purchase, done at Vasek Polak Porsche, the very first independent Porsche dealer in the United States. A car that not only radiated power and elegance but also possessed a unique character—because the 912E was only produced for one year. This particular model, number 1577 out of just 2092, became her companion on the vast roads of the West Coast.

Version with a sunroof! And in the original black color (700). Typeplate present.

This is the most complete vintage Porsche we currently have on offer.

The car has been fully converted to European specifications, but what makes it special is that all the original parts are still present:

  • Wide rear bumper blocks

  • Original maintenance booklet (stamped)
  • Original jack
  • Original chrome mirror

The front seats have been recently reupholstered, and the interior looks as good as new. The black paint still shines beautifully, though it has some signs of use.

The 2.0-liter engine runs smoothly and performs well in traffic—not to be compared with the earlier 912 series, much faster!
