Mecanicus offers today for sale this superb 1969 Porsche 914/6. This original American example – like 80% of the production – was delivered new on 10/07/1970 by the mythical Porsche dealer Audi Holbert’s of Rob Holbert, father of the famous driver Al Holbert in Pennsylvania. Historically, Rob Holbert was one of the very first Porsche dealers on American soil.

This fine 914/6 is a very exciting example, fully original and matching number. Never been restored, it retains its original service book, documentation and toolkit. The hubcaps are in very good condition available with the car.

Chassis number 4140430468, this car was finished in the traditional Orange color, with black interior and sheet metal wheels with hubcaps. This is a singular story for this car that will remain with its first owner, Mr. Dodge, until 2010, date of its first registration in France. Since then, this original car has had two owners and has been driven very little. Regularly maintained by its owner (without invoice), it has undergone a major engine rebuild by a specialist (RS73) in 2019 of the brand recognized in France for which we have photos but no invoice. Since then, the car has only been driven 32.017 km

In the hands of Pierre Samon – XXI Engineering, the car has just been serviced. Entirely original and Matching Number, it has a partially original paint. Some elements have been reworked following an aesthetic scratch on the left rear.

This 914/6 is a great opportunity to acquire a healthy, completely original, never restored example with a devastating charm. Always well treated by its former owners and mechanically impeccable, this 914/6 is ready to hit the road!
