Porsche 924 Turbo

The vehicle is otherwise above average well equipped. Beside a rare interior equipment which provides at each classic car meeting for discussion topic, the car has also a Targa roof installed. Electric windows, as well as outside mirrors, which are also still heatable belong likewise to it. Not to forget the original Blaupunkt cassette radio, rear mud flaps, color glass, as well as an original seat cushion for one of the emergency seats (similar to the Audi 100). For this there is no air conditioning, but thanks to the Targa roof it does not give the feeling of missing in Summer. The dashboard has no cracks.

The car has the usual signs of use. On the top left of the windshield it is milky for four centimeters, there are slight stone chips on the engine hub, as well as wear marks on the bumpers and a scratch on the Targa roof. Furthermore, the Ronal front spoiler on the right is porous for two centimeters, due to the plastic surface. However, this is only noticeable at second glance. The starter should be replaced soon and the turbocharger should get an overhaul (precaution with old turbos for the longest possible running time).

The car drives sporty and can hold a candle to any air-cooled Porsche (except 964 Turbo, 993 Turbo, etc.). The steering is direct, the weight distribution perfect due to the transaxle transmission. So if you are looking for a beautiful and above all rare Porsche, which should be driven in everyday life as well as on long distance trips, you will find it in this model. And again: The vehicle is not a « perfect » museum piece, but an honest car with low mileage and complete history that can be moved in everyday life.

The Turbo is dry and registered in an underground garage in Hamburg, Harvestehude. Test drives and inspections can be made by arrangement. The car is sold due to a new acquisition.
