1990 Carrera 2 Targa – 10 thousand miles – Grand Prix White over two-tone Silk Grey and Black leather interior.
This 964-generation 911 Targa represents an early example of the rear-wheel-drive Carrera 2 variant, and was delivered new on January 1990 to Town Motorcar Corporation of Englewood, New Jersey. This Targa remained with its first owner in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania for the first 18 years and 8,880 miles of its very well cared-for life. All dealer servicing was documented in its original owner’s warranty book. The second and local caretaker took ownership in 2008, driving the Targa another 1,800 miles. It was serviced was at Don Rosen Porsche in 2014, after which the car was sold to the White Collection. The Targa remains in outstanding original condition, with factory-original Grand Prix White throughout. Per Porsche dealer procedures, a replacement odometer was installed at 7,030 miles. The odometer has been repaired with the miles driven since (3,681) added to reflect its total and accurate mileage of 10,711.
It comes equipped with an optional limited-slip differential paired with its standard 3.6-liter flat-six engine and five-speed manual transaxle. Additional optional extras include a two-tone Silk Grey and Black leather interior, black piping, heated seats, and leather-wrapped shift knob and boot.
This Targa includes a copy of the window sticker and original owner’s books, tools, and a document binder.
