This Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet is a genuine Werks Turbo Look (WTL) and one of only 599 C2 Cabriolet WTLs with manual gearbox produced for Europe. The 964 is the perfect mix between a classic 911 with everyday creature comforts. When introduced in 1989, the iconic lines of the original 911 remained largely intact, but 85% of the car was brand new. The electric rear spoiler for example, but also modern technology like ABS and power steering. The then new 3.6l engine produces an impressive 250 horsepower. This makes the 964 still pretty quick for today’s standards.

An absolute rarity, much more than a Jubilee, this WTL Carrera 2 Cabriolet was finished in the classic shade of Midnight Bluer Metallic with a blue full leather interior – a rare configuration for this model. WTL’s were fitted as standard with electrically heated seats, automatic climate control, an electric soft top and Turbo brakes and suspension.

Our example is also fitted with standard options including draped front and rear seats, a Blaupunkt cassette car radio, tinted windscreen and with wheels with colored Porsche logo. It went to Werks1 or Porsche Exclusive as we know it today for some custom options including a full Rootwood interior and a leather convertible top cover.

The car was delivered new in the Netherlands on 17/04/1992 to a Dutchman. He sold it to an acquaintance in 2004 and bought it back in 2018. The car then came to its current owner in 2020. So it has only had 3 owners and now has just over 137,000 km on the odometer.

With its incredible color combination, its Porsche Exclusive options, soft top cover, windscreen, tool kit, full original documentation and a lot of invoices and history, this car is in superb condition and is absolutely 100% original. This is a true collector’s item with an impeccable history. The car has its original first paint, original option stickers and paint code. In addition, it enjoys a complete PPF protective film that keeps its paintwork in absolute new condition!
