It’s rare these days to find such an original example of the sought after 964 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. This example is presented in completely standard form including its original paintwork! First registered in August 1992 (1991 MY) and supplied in gloss black, with a black hood and special Z ordered contrasting grey leather interior.

A very usable classic 911, benefiting from the stability of the Carrera 4 chassis, ABS brakes, power steering, electric hood, plus further refinements in handling and comfort found on the 964. This car retains its original flag mirrors, Design 90 alloy wheels with new Pirelli tyres and a special ‘Z’ order interior. The paint thickness measurements indicate it has never been painted in its 30+ years, other that one small area to the offside front wing. The car is particularly straight and true, with factory panel gaps which is very unusual for a 911 of this era.

The underside is solid and the engine still retains the original gold Cosmaline protection wax. The maintenance records date back to 2012, along with MOT information supporting the low mileage. The most recent service was a major, carried out by respected marque specialists Williams Crawford just 1,300 miles ago in 2023, just over £5,000 was spent at this time on the major service, and other remedial work including new brake pipes, suspension bump stops, oil hoses, new starter motor, battery and drop links, front wishbone bushes. Complete with the original spare wheel, compressor, tool roll and jack, two keys, book pack, tonneau cover, wind deflector and drivers manual. The car starts with ease and drives superbly as you would expect. HPI clear, current MOT valid until Sept 2024 with no advisories.

G pipe exhaust for a little extra sound.
Replacement rear window in Vybak.
Replacement Thatcham Approved alarm and immobiliser installed in 2019.
