From 1992 it was possible to order an engine upgrade bearing the optioncode X33.
Special Camshafts with increased overlap times and increased valve lift. The induction ports were enlarged and disruptive edges removed. A slightly increased boost pressure all togehter improved the power output by around 10%. he torque improved as well to 471 Nm.
