EVO magazine wrote, “The GTS, in this specification at least, feels more like a 911 of old. In other words, it’s the best 991 short of the Turbo and GT3 models. In fact, as a road car it’s more fun than the Turbo and as a daily it’s much more usable than the hardcore, track-focussed versions. The GTS borrows the 3-litre twin turbo flat-six from the standard Carrera models, with power lifted to 444bhp. That’s a 30bhp gain over the Carrera S.  Porsche’s twin-clutch PDK gearbox and four-wheel drive system enable the GTS to be the fastest accelerating model in the Carrera range, setting a 3.6 second 0-62mph time. Its top speed is 193mph. Peak torque is 406lb ft.”

The Drive magazine went on to say, “a brand new 911 Targa 4 GTS might be the « Goldilocks » solution that fills the desires of the majority of Porsche buyers. The GTS is more or less an appearance package for a Carrera S that’s been kitted out with all of the best options. The Targa allows you to have an open-top car when you want it, but the security and quiet ride of a coupe when you desire that. With standard PASM, the suspension is compliant and comfortable when you need it but can really come alive when you want it. The blacked-out trim is subtle, but the wide fenders, standard sports exhaust, and gorgeous profile stand out in a crowd. The 30 additional horsepower are enough to sate even the most power-hungry buyers, but not so much that you’re afraid of what the car can do. It walks the fine line between all-out sports car and premium grand tourer.”

Supplied new by Porsche in December 2018, our 991 Targa 4 GTS has been serviced at Porsche main dealers and retains all its original paperwork. A warranty is also included in sale. Available to view now at our London showroom.
