Beginning in early September 2015, correspondence on file between Porsche and the owner began to finalize the plethora of details required to complete the build, further showing the near-limitless variety on offer when specifying one of Stuttgart’s finest.
Completed in April 2016, the exterior is finished in paint-to-sample Pearlescent White Metallic with Exclusive painted side skirts, rear fascia, front air intake grilles, and headlight washers. Twenty-inch Fuchs-style wheels from the 50th Anniversary Edition 911 over Porsche Ceramic Composite brakes are fitted on all four corners. Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus headlights in black and an aluminum-look-finish fuel cap complete the outer optional equipment. While under construction at the factory, photos were taken and published in a book provided upon delivery; this book accompanies the car today, underscoring its “as-new” presentation.
Stepping into the interior with the painted-to-match key, one finds an even greater level of detail. Black leather with Rhodium Silver stitching extends across the dashboard, instrument surround, air vents, steering column casing, inner door sill guards, and rear seat surrounds. The driver’s inputs are received through a seven-speed manual transmission, SportDesign steering wheel, and aluminum pedals. Heated Adaptive Sports Seats Plus are upholstered with stylish houndstooth cloth inserts for a vintage 911 look. The interior further includes the Premium Package Plus, the Burmester audio package, and ParkAssist. Lastly, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control actively controls body roll and reduces lateral movement while cornering. The car will be accompanied by owner’s books, the original window sticker, the aforementioned manufacture record book, floor mats, and an assortment of accessories, including the factory delivery wrappings.
