Porsche 911 Carrera S 50th Anniversary Edition

In 2013, Porsche celebrated the 50th anniversary of the 911 with a very special model: the Porsche 911 Carrera S “50 Years Anniversary Edition.” This exclusive version of the 991 generation paid tribute to the original 911, which first debuted in 1963. Blending classic design elements with modern technology, this model was limited to just 1,963 units worldwide, a clear reference to the 911’s birth year—instantly earning it collector status.

The 50 Years Edition stands out thanks to its unique styling cues. It was available in Graphite Grey, Geyser Grey Metallic, and optionally black. It featured the wider rear fenders of the Carrera 4, paired with rear-wheel drive, giving the car a muscular yet classic look. Distinctive 20-inch Fuchs-style wheels in matte black with polished rims paid homage to the 911s of the 1960s. At the rear, a chrome grille with twin slats and the classic Porsche lettering (in the original font) completed the tribute.
The interior is rich in heritage, featuring Pepita houndstooth upholstery on the seats and door panels—a nod to the early 911s. Premium leather, aluminum accents, and a numbered badge of the limited edition added exclusivity. The entire cabin reflected craftsmanship, nostalgia, and individuality.
Under the hood, the 911 Carrera S 50 Years Edition came equipped with the familiar 3.8-liter flat-six engine producing 400 hp. With the PDK transmission, it sprinted from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of over 300 km/h. Standard equipment included Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), providing a perfect blend of sporty performance and everyday comfort. The result: a balanced combination of tradition and innovation.
