When Porsche unveiled the 911 GT2 RS at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, it was clear the car wasn’t meant to simply cap off the 991.2 generation—it was designed to redefine what a road-going 911 could be. With 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque from its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six, it stood as the most powerful production 911 in history. Power was routed exclusively to the rear wheels, acceleration from 0–60 mph took just 2.7 seconds, and the car didn’t stop until 211 mph. It was a weapon built for the track, wrapped in carbon fiber, and sharpened by years of motorsport experience.

The result wasn’t just numbers—it was history. In September 2017, factory driver Lars Kern took the GT2 RS to the Nürburgring Nordschleife and posted a staggering 6:47.3 lap time. That wasn’t just fast—it was faster than the Porsche 918 Spyder by nearly 10 seconds, proving that pure internal combustion and meticulous engineering still had something to say in the era of hybrid hypercars.

Driving the GT2 RS demanded commitment. Its reputation was ferocious enough that many examples bore “Widowmaker” or Witwenmacher on the door sills—a nod to its unfiltered performance and place within a long line of brutal, no-compromise 911s. With the Weissach Package further trimming weight through magnesium wheels and additional carbon components, Porsche pushed the platform to its absolute limit. In every way that mattered—acceleration, grip, poise, and presence—the GT2 RS didn’t just represent the apex of the 991.2 generation; it reminded the world what Porsche’s iconic shape was still capable of.

Finished in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in November 2018, this all-black GT2 RS features the coveted $18,000 weight reduction Weissach Package that elevates its performance to an even higher level. Further technical and exterior options selected at the factory include the highly useful and desirable Front Axle Lift System, and LED Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). The optional Leather/Alcantara Interior Package in Black with Platinum Grey Stitching contains a host of features that include Bose Surround Sound, Chrono Package, Illuminated Door Sill Guards in Carbon Fiber, Light Design Package, Instrument dials in White, and more. The clean CARFAX for this 911 GT2 RS reveals a single previous owner with first delivery of the car in February 2019 at Porsche Walnut Creek with 15 miles, and a service most recently at Porsche Rocklin with 574 miles recorded.
