For the 2016 model year, the 991 GT3 became the latest car from Stuttgart to wear the hallowed RS moniker. As per previous generations, the RS was made more hardcore – lighter, faster, and sharper – than the standard model. With increased displacement over the standard GT3, the RS’ 4.0-liter flat-six engine developed 500 hp and 338 lbs./ft. of torque and was mated to a rapid seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox delivering power to the rear wheels. Other distinctions included more aggressive aerodynamics, while a magnesium roof and carbon fiber front fenders, hood, and engine cover were additional weight-saving measures. Concluding their September 2016 review, Car and Driver stated the RS was “one of the world’s best cars with one of the most spectacular engine notes.”

This 2016 Porsche 991 GT3 RS is painted in white over a black leather and Alcantara interior with GT Silver deviated stitching. In addition to standard features such as rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, options included ceramic composite brakes, front-axle lift system, 23.9-gallon fuel tank, Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Communication Management, Sound Package Plus, LED headlights, Satin Black wheels, and carbon fiber and aluminum personalizations. Purchased new by its current owner and maintained within his collection, this GT3 RS shows less than 100 miles on its odometer today and essentially appears as new.
