Ever since the 991 Porsche has been building proper Targa’s again. The 991 Targa debuted an imaginatively engineered automatic set-up that saw the entire rear section motor backwards to accommodate the roof panel. This theatrical solution remains for the 992.
The 992 Targa is a compromise between a 911 coupe and a convertible. It still has the beautiful silhouet and lines of the coupe but offers aremovable roof like the convertible. Furthermore, a Targa usually retains its value better than a coupe or convertible.
