You could be forgiven for walking past a Touring and mistaking it for a regular Carrera. the hints are subtle. Central exhaust in the rear, surrounded by a diffuser. Mesh engine cover is the only clue in the form of a GT3 Touring badge. Up front, a more aggressive front end with splitter and cooling.
Opening the door reveals an interior that has received the same treatment as the exterior, all in black with yellow details. Here in the form of the seat belts and the holder for the SportChrono device. The firm carbon fiber seats are covered in cloth and leather to keep you firmly in place. In front of you is a simple instrument panel with a mechanical tachometer displaying a 9k redline. A true gem.
Today, the GT3 Touring offers something unique to the market in the form of a naturally aspirated six-cylinder, 4-liter engine. This makes the GT3 family the only way to turn a 992 over 7k. Another unique feature of the GT3 is the front suspension, which is very different from that of a normal 992. For the first time, unequal-length double wishbones are used in a 911.
