This two-owner, Polar Silver 1995 Porsche 911 (993) Sunroof Coupe represents the inaugural year of the 993 model. The first major restyling of the traditional Porsche 911, the 993 featured a sensuous silhouette that was more shapely than its 964 predecessor. The modern, aerodynamic look was not the only improvement. An upgraded 3.6L engine, new six-speed manual transmission, and new rear suspension completed the package. Recent service of this 993 by Baldwin’s German Autowerks in Novato, California, (June 2021 at 65,226 miles; September 2021 at 65,552 miles) included the following: Oil/filter change, brake fluid renewal, new oxygen sensor, new sunroof motor, and new battery. A previous service at 60.5k included a replacement drive belt, power steering service, manual transmission service, replacement of the left and right timing cover gaskets, and replacement of the left and right lower valve cover gaskets.

The Polar Silver exterior of this 993, with its softly-flared fenders and tucked waist, is complemented by staggered 17” Continental SureContact Performance tires (purchased in August 2019) mounted on five-spoke light alloy wheels with colored Porsche Crest center caps, color-matched dual side mirrors, fog lights integrated into the front bumper, discreet, black rear bumperettes, and a speed-activated rear spoiler.

The Black partial-leather interior features driver/passenger front seat airbags, power-adjustable seating, black Porsche floor mats, power windows and side mirrors, automatic climate control, a rear window defroster, a switch to manually operate the rear spoiler, and an upgraded Alpine AM/FM/CD multiple speaker audio system.

This 993 Coupe is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine that produces up to 272 HP and drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, newly designed in 1995. It also has Torque Limited Slip with ABD ($1200 option.) An all-aluminum multi-link suspension replaced the classic rear trailing arms, improving ride quality and handling, while at the same time, reducing road noise.
