The Porsche 911 993. A Porsche that is very important to many and closed things, but also opened new doors in Stuttgart. It was the very last 911 that used purely air to cool. Also, it was the last 911 that Ferdinand Porsche himself experienced. Four days after the last 993 was born in Stuttgart, Ferdinand breathed his last (air-cooled) breath. R.I.P. hero!

‍Compared to its predecessor (and no, this did not come from the introduction leaflet, this time it really was!) the 993 was revolutionary. An improved suspension and 15% power gain over the 964 made it a perfect Autobahn-hero. Überhaupt Porsche is awfully good at the core of what we are talking about; driving. Emphasizing the -for an enthusiast- essential things. Driving, experience and emotion. And we can tell you that a 993 Carrera Targa has all of those.

How about our own gem? She was delivered in ever-sunny California, USA, and has already handed out 187 thousand kilometers of smiles. Her Arktissilber exterior, combined with the sleek midnight blue interior, is simply a complementary magnet. Before she was allowed to spend the night at our clubhouse, we had her thoroughly checked and pampered by our Porsche specialist.

And for those who like to be the doubters, rest assured, this beauty is not just for show. She is perfectly suited for daily use. So yes, we thought of the practical side as well.
