Engine:
This 993 has the « Exclusive Sonderwunsch-Nr. X51 » option. This was the first time Porsche introduced the X51 option. The option is made for the M64.05 engine and WLS (Werksleistungsteigerung) was only availble for:
EU states, Gulf States, Hong Kong and Singapur. The X51 was never available in USA!
Probably only a dozen of these 1995 (pre-varioram) 993’s are made with this very expensive option.
The 3.8 comes from factory with different cylinders, changed crankshaft and camshaft from 993 Cup.
Also parts from the later 3.8 RS engine.
