Héritage Automobiles is offering for sale a Porsche 993 Turbo with a RUF engine conversion delivering 490 horsepower.

Originally sold new in Switzerland in 1995, this 993 underwent a complete engine preparation a few years later, carried out by RUF in Germany. The upgrade involved the installation of a specific engine kit that delivers 490 horsepower, thanks to two KKK turbochargers. The car also received Bilstein suspension and 19-inch wheels developed by OZ for RUF.
We are currently awaiting a response from RUF to provide us with the invoices for this conversion, which was carried out in their workshops.

The first three services were carried out directly at RUF, as confirmed by the service booklet.
In 2006, the car was imported to Norway, where it continued to receive meticulous maintenance. The first two services in Norway were carried out by a specialist, and from 2011 to 2014, the car was serviced by Porsche Son.

In 2015, the car was imported to France by its current owner, who purchased it directly from Porsche with just over 100,000 kilometers on the clock. It was then entrusted to APC in Alfortville, a Porsche specialist, which carried out two full services in 2015 and 2018.

In 2018, the owner decided to further enhance the RUF character of the car by adding several aesthetic and functional elements directly from the German tuner’s catalogue. The car then received Turbo R front and rear bumpers, a steering wheel combining Alcantara and leather, a RUF pedal set and footrest, as well as RUF door sills—enhancing the car’s exclusive identity without ever compromising its authenticity.

Since then, the car has been driven very little. It now shows only 102,500 kilometers. The most recent service was carried out in November 2023 by the owner’s in-house mechanical team. To ensure a smooth sale, a full service will be performed before delivery, including the replacement of all four tires.

This Porsche 993 Turbo RUF is a rare gem, unique for its clear history, RUF-certified preparation, outstanding condition, and low mileage. It represents a unique opportunity for an enthusiast or discerning collector to acquire an absolute automotive icon that perfectly embodies the golden age of the air-cooled Porsche 911.
