The rear wing of a 993 Turbo is not just design. It’s a necessity to « force » air into the intercooler. The Porsche AG employees had been working for a long time to get more force and power out of the engine, without compromising the surroundings too much. Comme ci comme ca, but the pure will to get something terribly fast to be both sustainable and long-lasting has always been in the Zuffenhausen DNA.

The 911 Turbo is generally an absolute darling in our Porsche 911 life here in the garage and it has proved its worth in our many years of 911s everywhere – and this one is especially stuck on our minds.

The focal point of the joy of these cars, is when a special type of 911 comes around. Something that indoctrinates and appeals to all of us – something that makes you want to take it down a notch, when the time is right (read; not rush hour).

This 993 Turbo was originally supplied in the color Arena Red (color code H8), which was one of the signature colors during the introduction. This deep red – reminds us of a Kenya sunset and it brings out the widebody lines in great fashion.

For nearly 25 years, this car has been taken care of. The first asphalt under the wheels, came around in November 1995.

Today, 72.382 kilometers has been driven in this 993. It came to Denmark in 2015 with a solid history from Sweden where it was owned by a female Porsche enthusiast.

It has just went through a 111-point check at Porsche Centrum Copenhagen at the 26/05/2020. The latest service was carried out at Porsche Centrum at 70.777 km. / 06/11/2015.

The interior is in hyper-well-maintained condition. Black leather sports seats, seat heating, acoustic package and sunroof is configured to this car. The original radio module has been replaced with Porsche Classic’s own module with built-in navigation. The leather interior still « smells » like new aniline leather. The quality of the interior is seriously great after 25 years. It’s not often at all, that we see this.
