Presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1993, the 911 type 993 succeeded the 964. Thanks to its superb line, the car immediately received enormous success. It presents a new face with angled front headlights, as well as a smoothed and softened line compared to the previous models. The introduction of the 993 was a milestone in Porsche history, it was the last to use the air-cooled engine that had been a feature of the 911 since its launch.

The 911 Type 993 is considered by many to be the most beautiful of all 911s because it maintains the basic line by adding mechanical and aesthetic modernity. Along with the introduction of the streamlined body, a multi-link rear suspension improves comfort and dynamic behavior by reducing the tendency to oversteer.

Introduced in 1995, the 993 Turbo was the first production Porsche fitted with a twin-turbo engine and the first 911 Turbo with permanent all-wheel drive. The 993 Turbo S was unveiled in 1997 and asserts itself as the most exclusive of the 993 since only 345 copies will see the light of day. The engine now develops 450 horsepower thanks to enlarged turbos, making this car the most powerful Porsche of the time. The 993 Turbo S reaches 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and covers the kilometer from a standing start in 22 seconds, for a top speed of 300 km/h.

To achieve such performance, we find on this extremely rare model many special equipment: first, the imposing spoiler from the Aerokit II, just like the front bumper, but also the side air intakes, the calipers yellow and a specific color for the rims, four exhaust outlets, stiffer suspensions which allow the car to be lowered by 15 mm or even many carbon fiber elements inside.
