After the presentation of the 993 Turbo with 408 hp, Porsche offered the WLS power kit as an option, which raised the maximum power to 430 hp. Later the WLSII arrived with its 450hp. The Turbo PowerKit II consist in: two Turbochargers, an additional front oil cooler, a DME control module and two dual pipes. Thanks to these changes, a maximum power of 450hp was obtained. This unit was one of the few that left the factory with the Powerkit, although the brand also offered the option « E49 », which could be installed in those 993 Turbo already manufactured. In this case, these latter units are less valuable. As a curiosity and for homologation reasons, comment that these units with Powerkit were not sold new in the United States, Canada and Japan.
