Porsche Boxster Spyder
On the occasion of the New York show 2015, Porsche unveiled a new version of its Boxster presented in 2014. Repeating the theme of the Spyder already presented on the first version of the Boxster, the firm of Weissach presented a spyder even better than previous generations.
The previous Spyder was a particularly nice version, the new model corrects many defects, starting with a hood much easier to handle.
The Sypder 981 is equipped as standard with the sports chassis, and especially the 6 cylinder 3.8 3.8 developing 375 hp all coupled to a mechanical gearbox. The car loses nearly 30 pounds compared to a standard Boxster. The braking system is borrowed from the 991 Carrera S. The Spyder is a fabulous car to drive with irreproachable behavior. Not to mention a captivating sound.
The 2nd Generation Spyder is no longer produced and its production has been limited to 2,440 copies worldwide (1653 Europe and RoW, 910 USA + Canada).
