The unit in question mounts under the hood a 3.4-liter naturally aspirated boxer six-cylinder 325 hp.
In addition, having the engine placed in a central position, the cabin is flooded with engine sound more than in the 911 that carries the engine a little further back.
The first generation Cayman received a lot of criticism for its poor interior, which did not look like that of a car in its price range.
This 981 is something else. The cabin adopts that design pattern introduced by the Porsche Panamera, with a high console and full of buttons that I personally do not like.
The truth is that none is superfluous, and both the location of the various controls and the design itself is quite attractive.
In addition, the finishes are much better than before and it is also noticeable that the materials are not exactly second-rate.
I still remember the good times we had with the CAYMAN R, suffered a lot and endured like a cosaco.
That R was the closest thing to a real Club Sport.
