The Black paint work has been well preserved and is complemented by the Gold “Carrera” side script. Inside, the cabin presents beautifully with a leather-wrapped VDM steering wheel, original dash, VDO gauges, working air conditioning, and a Kenwood AM/FM stereo and Blaupunkt speakers. Refinished 6” & 7” Fuch alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tires (date coded 2024). The undercarriage is solid, rust-free, and well preserved with a suspension detail.

According to service records, the Carrera was sold to the second owner in San Clemente, California, on May 27, 1980, with documented history dating back to the first owner. Just prior to the purchase, the 2.7L flat-six engine was rebuilt by HG Bieker of Burbank, California, at 79,111 miles. The Carrera was then regularly maintained by well-known Porsche specialists, including Andial, Autobahn West, and Bill Brewster Automotive, through the 1980s to the early 2000s.

After a period of light use and eventual long-term storage, this Carrera was acquired in 2025 by European Collectibles, who performed a comprehensive recommissioning, including:

Complete with a California pink slip from the second owner, tool kit, date-coded spare wheel, jack, tire compressor, and 45 years of service documentation.
