1971 Porsche 911T Coupe

-Matching Numbers Engine and Transmission

This 911T was completed at the factory in January 1971 and was finished in Conda Green with a black leatherette interior. Options included: US Equipment, Light Metal Wheels (6J x 15) w/185/70 VR 15 Tires, Front and Rear Stabilizers, Blaupunkt Radio “Boston,” Comfort Equipment, Electric Sunroof and Dunlop Tires. The car was shipped to Florida and sold to its first owner. The second owner, Dr. Trudeau, purchased the car in 1975, relocated it to California in the early 1980s and kept it until 2013 when it was sold to European Collectibles. When we got the car, it had some original paint, excellent original floors and was running and driving very well. We did some interior tidying, a tune up and installed new tires. It was quickly sold to a local Porsche enthusiast who kept the car until recently selling it back to us. In his eight-year ownership, he added about 3,000 miles to the odometer and brought it to us regularly for service work and minor repairs.

Het voertuig in detail

The body is in very good condition with factory-correct gaps that are consistent with a car that has never suffered damage or rust. The Conda Green paintwork is presentable, but flaws and signs of age can be found upon close inspection. The interior was restored in the last few years when the original comfort seats were replaced with Recaro-style (reproduction) sport seats. The engine runs very well and the compression numbers are strong (125, 130, 130, 125, 130, 130). A complete tune-up was just performed and included a rebuild of the carburetors, new shift bushings, new hood shocks, new spark plugs, and new Turbo tie rods. Once the work was completed, five new Pirelli CN36 185/70-15 tires were installed, and the car was aligned. Prior to offering for sale in 2022, all suspension components were removed, repainted and refinished. During installation, all new bushings and shocks/struts were used. When one goes looking for a 911T in this price range, rarely do they find a matching numbers car in an exciting original color and with a sunroof.
