History: This Porsche was first registered in the USA in 1971. It was imported into France in 2015, and its current owner acquired it in 2021. This car benefited from a complete restoration carried out between 2019 and 2024 at a cost of around €28,000. An extensive file of invoices attests to its meticulous maintenance.

General: This 2.2 is in very good condition.

Exterior: The bodywork is in fine condition, with paintwork and rear apron restored in 2024. Originally Irish green, the car has been repainted grey. The 15” Fuchs wheels, headlights and mirrors are in very good condition. This model is fitted with a black hard-top, fully restored in 2024, and is in very good condition.

Interior: The interior is in very good condition, with the leathers in excellent condition, as are the carpets and rugs. The Pepita leatherette seats are in excellent condition, with no rips or tears, offering good comfort. The dashboard is in excellent condition, and all instruments are functional. Please note that the original brown interior has been replaced and the rearview mirror changed in 2021. This model is equipped with a fully functional Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio system.

Mechanical: The engine received a complete overhaul in 2019, including replacement of the piston rings, bearings, exhaust valves, timing system, clutch and oil pump, as well as reaming of the cylinder heads and machining of the magnesium crankcases. The carburetor was also rebuilt. The Bilstein rear shock absorbers were replaced in 2021, and the Vredestein tires are in good condition. The Flat-6 starts quickly and delivers all its power. The gearbox is smooth and precise, with no hiccups. The car’s roadholding is very good.

Underpinnings : The underpinnings are sound and free from perforating corrosion. Photos are available on request.
