1966 Porsche 912 for sale!

‘Collection by Vermant’ is very proud to be able to present to you this beautiful Porsche 912 from April 1966. The car is equipped with its ‘matching numbers’ 1.6L strong Flat 4 engine, producing 90 hp. This power is transmitted to the rear wheels by means of the original manual 5-speed ‘Dogleg’ gearbox.

The Coupe left the factory on 27 April 1966 and was sold to his first owner in America. It was finished in stylish ‘Ivory white’ with a red leather interior.

Het voertuig in detail

In January 2010 the ‘12’ was bought by a Belgian guy who brought the car from Michigan to Europe. However the Porsche was still in correct condition, a full ‘Nut & Bolt restoration’ was started

The bodywork was completely stripped, sandblasted and fitted with new sheet metal parts… For the finish, the original colour ‘Ivory white’ with Red leather interior was chosen once again, after which the whole was rebuilt with new parts (rubbers, chrome, …).

The engine, gearbox and suspension were completely disassembled as well and assembled again with new or reconditioned parts.

The car was subsequently delivered in December 2014.

Meanwhile, the car was only allowed to cover 7000 km since the restoration.
It is therefore not surprising that the car is still in perfect condition.

The classic Porsche is equipped with:
– A Belgian registration
– A photo book showing the restoration
– A valuation report (Note 2)
– Drivers manual, Blaupunkt, instruction book,…
– The old US Title
– Bills from the restoration
