1969 Porsche 912 Long Wheel Base‬ for sale at Renes Collectables!

This 912 was delivered new in California. It still wears the front- and back famous Californian Black Plates. The first 7 years of history are unfortunately unknown. In 1976 the 912 was bought by Mr. Rex Burlinger. He kept it ever since. Lots of records and the original CA pink-slip show the nearly 45 years of single ownership.

Het voertuig in detail

Body:
The preservation of the body is amazing. Absolute no rust, never welded and no signs of any accidents.
The panel fit is like it came out of the factory in 1969.
De battery boxes are perfect, the tank support is rock solid and the floor is almost dent free and bone-dry.

Paint:
The car is once repainted. Very low thickness measurements all around. The paint is faded and has some scratches. I decided to not polish it. I like the original looks of this car.
Doorjams are still first paint.

Interior:
The interior is also extremely original
Original carpet
Original headliner and sun visors
Original dash (has some sun cracks)
Original upholstery
Original door cards and doorpockets

The only things that are added later is the radio and air-conditioning.

Engine:
The matching numbers 90HP engine runs smooth and is once rebuilt. The engine will be serviced before delivery.

Gearbox:
The 4 speed gearbox shifts good in every gear. No grinding or other noises.

Wheels:
All orignal matching wheels. 1-69
Chrome is peeling of
