The 964 was an all-new 911, introduced for the 1990 model year. Alongside the all-wheel drive system, previously the special reserve of the Porsche 959 supercar, new innovations included ABS, a G50 5 speed manual gearbox and a twin spark 3.6. The 964 Carrera 4 was the dawn of a new era for road-going Porsche.
