Porsche 964 Carrera 4 – Nordic Drive

First and foremost, let’s take the color. Amethyst Pearl was developed for the Porsche 964 in 1992 when Porsche’s design team once again wanted to add in colors that had abilities like no other color. Colors that were both intersting and naturally beautiful for the car’s design language. Porsche had shown the 964 RS in Ruby Red a few months prior, which was received by the Porsche elite with a standing applause. The Amethyst color has also been given a renaissance in today’s Porsche model program.

This 911 represents a special part of Porsche’s classic universe. To this day, it is admirable enough in itself to look at a car that appears with this type of colored leather quality, sense of the distinctive, unique details and with a general appreciation for its uniqueness.

The car was delivered as new to the Porsche dealer in Paris where it stands for six weeks without being registered. It is then sold on to a gentleman of the Italian village Pessaro, where it was used for the next 12 years before being set aside in 2004. Ten years later, a new chapter in the life of the car starts, as it is picked up for a private car collection in Ancona, Italy. Here the car stands for three years before we discover the car in 2017 and drive it to Denmark.

We fell in love with the entire composition of this Carrera 4, which not only appears in the special exterior color Amethyst Pearl, but which also retains the original tripple purple interior with part leather. In addition, the car stands on the original 17-inch Club Sport rims, which were just introduced with the 964 generation. This car is delivered with the manual transmission.

If you are looking for a 964 in a quite unique composition, which is cared for throughout its life of and thus appears in original condition, this is a really good case of that.
