Introduced in 1991, the limited production RS was meant for the pure enthusiast looking for an ultra-lightweight street version of the regular Carrera 2. Enthusiasts were seeking a more hardcore, bare basic performance road-going 911 chasing the heritage of the original 1973 Carrera RS.

This rare RS was originally sold in Japan and was exceptionally maintained in Japan with records from new until 2010. It was then sold to its next custodian in Germany where it remained in enthusiast care and in superb condition. A compression and leak down test was performed with excellent results less than 1,000 miles ago. The RS was imported to the US and owned by a Porsche collector and long-time friend and client of Autosport Designs, Inc. The RS is fitted with rare Recaro painted back racing seats.

With just 61,000 Km (38,000 miles), this RS is in superb condition throughout and complete with its books, tools and spare wheel. A superb opportunity to own a very limited and rare air-cooled Porsche. It is turn-key ready for immediate collectability and touring pleasure.
