For many years, we have had the pleasure of selling beautiful examples of the 964 3.6 Turbo. Yet here we can honestly say that this is one of the finest we have ever had.
This 3.6 Turbo is equipped with the very rare code M740 which stands for ‘Exhibition Car’ With this, this 911 received extra attention during production to ensure that this specimen would be flawless and delivered with a perfect finish. This 964 was eventually exhibited at the AutoRai in Amsterdam in February 1993 to present the then all-new top-of-the-range 3.6 Turbo model.
Presented in the iconic Black metallic with a full leather interior in Carrera grey colour with a special black leather piping finish.
This 3.6 Turbo was subsequently delivered new in March 1993 to its first owner by Pon’s Automobielhandel and registered on its registration number GFHZ96. Which it still has today. So the 964 also has its entire history in the Netherlands. Witness the now 2nd service booklet in which is stamped, as the first one is completely full, it can be said that the Turbo has always been very well maintained.

Like just about every Porsche 911, this one was used regularly in its early years and got its main mileage. The last owner brought it in for inspection in 2021, expressing a desire to return his 964 Turbo to like-new condition! The base an actually perfect, damage-free Porsche 964 Turbo with only user marks all around. A wonderful job followed which we carried out here in our workshop. Over € 130,000 was invested, witness present invoices and photos. The old layers of paint on the outside were completely removed in order to apply a single new layer of paint at top level. Subsequently, it has been perfectly rebuilt in detail using many new, original parts. The interior remained almost entirely original and was only detailed. The car’s technology has been completely overhauled. The engine was completely rebuilt and optically restored. So, too, among other things, have the fuel system, the braking system, the front and rear suspension, as well as the original Speedline’s which have been perfectly restored.

A Porsche 964 3.6 Turbo like this is very rarely available.
