Porsche released the 964 Turbo 3.6 in January 1993, now featuring a KK K27 turbocharged version of the 3.6 litre M64 engine developing 360 PS (355 bhp / 265 kW) @ 5,500 rpm and 520 N⋅m (384 lb⋅ft) @ 4,200 rpm of torque. Produced only for model years 1993 and 1994, fewer than 1,500 3.6 Turbos were built, making it among the rarest and most sought after Porsches produced during the era. The car gained additional notoriety starring alongside Will Smith in the 1995 film Bad Boys. In recent years, it has become increasingly collectible as the ultimate expression of the original Porsche Turbo formula. Its single turbo rear wheel drive configuration gives it a thrilling and raw character that isn’t present in any subsequent Porsche Turbo.
