Porsche’s entire legacy is built on decades of engineering continuous improvements, and the 991.2 GT3 epitomizes this perfectly. When the 991.1 GT3 was introduced for the 2014 model year, it represented a significant leap forward over its predecessor, with a 25% stiffer structure and a completely new powertrain featuring a dual clutch transmission and a new direct-injected engine. For 2018, the GT3 was comprehensively revised, with particular emphasis on the motor, which was bumped to 4.0 liters while lighter but stronger internal components and a sophisticated new valvetrain increased the redline to a screaming 9,000 RPM. Power output rose to 500hp, a remarkable 125 horsepower per naturally-aspirated liter, all from a docile street engine with 12,000 mile oil change intervals. Of particular note is that following the 2016 facelift of the 991, the GT3 became the only naturally-aspirated car remaining in the entire 911 lineup, making the already superb motor even more special.

In addition to the powertrain changes, the 991.2 GT3 has a host of other updates: revised chassis settings including rear wheel steering as well as updated aerodynamics which add substantial downforce over the 991.1 GT3. The resulting car is incredibly alive, dynamic, and exciting. At its core, it is a driver’s car, one with the timeless combination of absurd capability and a playful character that is always entertaining.

This particular car is a one-owner example sold new by Porsche of Bakersfield in March of 2018. Its original MSRP was $169,540 and was optioned with Carrara White Metallic paint, leather/alcantara package in red, front axle lift, light design package, red stitching, floor mats, Bose sound system, key painted to match the car together with key pouch, carbon fiber interior trim, bucket seats, auto dimming mirrors with integrated rain sensor, platinum satin wheels, LED headlights with PDLS, carbon fiber door sill plates, red instrument faces, and red seat belts.

It was serviced at 7,858 miles by Porsche of Downtown Los Angeles as well as twice before that at 3,866 miles and 6,528 miles, and comes with service records, books, and window sticker.
