This 2003 996 911 was originally a show car delivered new to Porsche in Zuffenhausen. Being a Show car Porsche heavily specified the car with options including the desired X51 powerkit, Sports suspension,18-inch five-spoke alloy “GT3” wheels, A leather centre console, Leather-covered steering wheel airbag module, leather-edged floor mats with ‘Porsche’ script, Headlamp washers, Seat heating, Left and right electrically adjustable sports seats with Porsche crests, and a Rear wiper. The car also features a factory aero kit and a carbon fibre RUF rear spoiler. The Speed yellow exterior is matched with a Porsche exclusive manufaktur interior with the transmission tunnel, back of seats and stitching all in the same colour as the exterior.
The highly optioned Porsche was subsequently sold to a Herr Rudi von Sternberg, A man who wanted the already special Porsche to be even more special, He decided to contact RUF, a renowned tuner of Porsches that during the time offered various enhancements to the 996 platform: including the R Kompressor variant von Sternberg opted for.
