Under the hood of the 997 Turbo S is a 3.8-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with two turbos and variable turbine geometry. This engine delivers an impressive 530 hp and a torque of 700 Nm. Thanks to this power, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 315 km/h.

The addition of the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) transmission takes performance to the next level. This 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission delivers lightning-fast gear changes with no interruption in power, contributing to the car’s unparalleled acceleration and smoothness of the ride.

The 997 Turbo S is equipped with a range of advanced systems that optimise the driving experience. Porsche Traction Management (PTM) ensures efficient distribution of power to all four wheels, maximising traction and stability. In addition, the car features Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and a mechanical rear differential, resulting in improved handling and precision when cornering.

To safely bring the enormous power to a halt, the Turbo S is equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) as standard. These high-performance brakes not only provide superior stopping power, but also reduce unsprung weight, contributing to improved roadholding. The adaptive Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system automatically adjusts the damping to the driving conditions, seamlessly combining comfort and sportiness.

The exterior of the 997 Turbo S is distinguished by its streamlined profile, wide wheel arches with the characteristic air intakes and rear spoiler. Specific Turbo S details, such as the 19-inch Turbo II alloy wheels and the bi-xenon headlights with dynamic cornering lights, accentuate the sporty character.

Inside, the car offers a luxurious yet functional interior. High-quality materials such as (optional) leather and (optional) carbon fiber are abundantly present. The sports seats with memory function, the Bose surround sound system and the advanced Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation and touchscreen control panel contribute to the comfort and convenience.
