The 997.2 Turbo S, about the most comprehensive one could order in 2009-2012. With the PDK with sport mode that torpedoes you forward with 530HP (30HP more than the normal Turbo). You feel like you’re on a roller coaster. It’s repulsive and something you really want to experience as a petrolhead.

The later 997 facelift models are rare in production numbers precisely because we were full on credit crunch at the time. This facelift has a super fast PDK (dual clutch), 4WD and ceramic discs. A Turbo S convertible has only been ordered a total of 1400 times, making it not very much less rare than a Ferrari F40. Moreover, this is another 911 that does allow you to give many electric cars just the middle finger.
