1984 Porsche 911 3.2 – Backdated to 2.7 RS Specification
Built in 2016 from an exemplary 1984 3.2 Coupe with just 95K miles and full service history. This beautiful re-creation of the iconic 2.7 RS has been stripped and rebuilt by 911 Rennsport, renown globally for their high end bespoke backdates and custom 911 builds. Although not a full blown Rennsport custom car, (ie still retaining the original 3.2 engine and running gear) the work has been carried out to a high standard, including new steel wings, lightweight front and rear bumpers, lightweight ducktail, a full colour change inside and out to Grand Prix White, updated suspension to fast road spec with full geo setup, all brakes and wheel bearings replaced, engine fully serviced, detailed with many parts replaced and leak down test performed. The 915 gearbox was also refreshed with a Wevo short shifter and coupling fitted. The exhaust system has been upgraded to SSI style heat exchangers and Le Mans back box, resulting in a raw, very satisfying soundtrack. This combined with the induction kit means the car breathes a lot easier and actually drives more like a carburettor car, with more responsive throttle and improved performance.
