Porsche 356 A 1600 Super for sale!

This 356 lived most of its life in Utah, where between 1990 and 2014 had just two owners, friends in the 356 Register.

We know the car well, and it has been maintained here at Williams Crawford since its arrival from the US in 2015.

The engine is matching and would have originally been 60hp. Now we estimate it to have about 100hp, courtesy of a super engine rebuild by AirPower. It’s on Weber carbs and it absolutely flies. The body received new paint with us several years ago and presents very well. Panel fit and gaps are good. We believe the trunk, and doors to be matching, the engine lid is not.

The interior is neat, looks really nice with black leather seats and grey carpet.

This is a 356 to drive, it has a great appeal, especially with the extra power. It has a very nice feel and appearance. Many of these have had surface attention cosmetically, but little use and often drive not so well, commonly requiring significant expenditure to bring them to a good driving standard. This 356 has been used, tried and tested. Proof was a flying visit to Austria, covering the distance there and back within a week.

It’s rare, beautiful with a large file of history dating back to circa ’89. It’s a proven machine, needing nothing and ready for another decade of fun.
