Das Fahrzeug im Detail

In 2021, Porsche announced that it would be adding the 718 Cayman GT4 to its vaunted line of RS (RennSport) models. The most uncompromising, track-focused member of the 718 family, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS used the same high-revving, naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine as that in the 911 GT3, producing 493 horsepower and paired, like all modern RS models, with Porsche’s dual-clutch transmission (PDK). Its scant 3,120-pound curb weight, extensive chassis modifications, and fixed rear wing contributed to the new GT4 RS lapping the Nürburgring Nordschleife 23 seconds faster than the GT4 model.

Over the past decade, Porsche devotees as well as Porsche itself have increasingly taken notice of the value offered by a one-of-a-kind, Paint to Sample (PTS) finish. The previously seldom-selected option has seen a rapid rise in demand, prompting Porsche to expand its Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur personalization division and offer a limited number of PTS allocations on specific models, costing anywhere from $11,430 for one of Porsche’s pre-selected colors, up to $25,660 for a bespoke hue. While this route may take longer, VIP clientele fortunate enough to receive an allocation have the opportunity to create a truly unique and rare Porsche such as the Auratium Green 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Weissach offered here.

Displaying just 371 miles on the odometer at the time of cataloging, this single-owner Cayman GT4 RS Weissach is finished in the stunning historic shade of Paint to Sample Auratium Green over a Black leather and Race-Tex interior with contrasting Arctic Grey stitching. As a coveted Weissach Package-equipped car, it also features a distinctive carbon-fiber weave on the luggage compartment lid, process air intakes, cooling air intakes, airbox cover, exterior mirror upper trims and rear wing, as well as titanium exhaust outlets inspired by the Porsche 935. The aggressive appearance of the GT4 RS Weissach is further enhanced by 20-inch forged aluminum wheels complemented by optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with High Gloss Black-finished brake calipers. Stepping inside, the exterior theme is continued with seat belts and door-pull loops in Lizard Green, with other desirable options consisting of illuminated carbon fiber door-sill guards, Sport Chrono Package and instrument dials in White, and a BOSE Surround Sound System.
