Finished in its original colour of 6602 Polo red, the aged paint probably dates from 30 or more years ago when it was given its first repaint (in the original red). Now that paint shows its age, but the panel gaps and the body lines are excellent. In fact, we believe that all the panels are original to the car; the front wings, with their original locating pins, sills, kidneys and floor. Just the tank support panel under the battery has been recently replaced.

This is one that you can wax protect underneath, preserve and drive it as it is, or alternatively, perform a simple repaint to the super straight body.

Hunt around and original details abound; the bumper horns, the antenna, plus a very rare factory (option 9474) electric sunroof, with the drains exiting at the back of the roof (unique to these early 911). The original radio, jack, spare and aged toolroll are found under the trunk.

The car has the original (matching numbers) 130 bhp engine and a correct but non matching 5 speed transmission. It is a great drive, willing, revvy and swift. It handles and rides really well.

Recently benefiting from significant investment to the engine, carburettors, fuel pump, throttle and gear linkage bushings, engine mounts, suspension and exhaust.

Rarely do 50+ year old 911 come along like this, it’s a real pleasure. All you ‘need’ to do is drench it underneath in wax, drive it , enjoy it and preserve it for the next ten years. Perfect!
