The entire interior of the engine is new, with the original oil pump being replaced by a high-performance one. The Weber 40IDA3C carburettors were also rebuilt and calibrated to the new engine specifications. In the first test on a power bench, the result was a robust 178hp! These are 48hp more than the original 130hp, for a featherweight of 1080 kg, in a pleasant combination of torque and power. The regime rise is accompanied by an unusual force making it to feel endless. The electrical supply system has been improved with a 123Ignition electronic distributor, which, while maintaining the original look, dispenses with any type of regular tuning and allows for better engine performance. This is a very unusual 911 flying pocket rocket.

The bodywork has undergone a complete restoration. In addition to repairing the front impact on the right side, the entire metal body was stripped and recovered with new elements, having been protected and painted with three coats in the original Burgundy Red 6808 color.

The entire interior has been redone, from the thick “dark tan” carpet to the original seats with the fabric detail in “Brown Pepita”, a rare combination that marries wonderfully with the entire interior and especially with the exterior color. The gauges were disassembled, cleaned and calibrated, taking the moment to convert the speedometer from miles to km/h. The steering wheel was covered in genuine black leather, in order to allow a greater ‚grip‘ of the engine’s high performance. A new, custom-made magnesium ignition key with the car VIN engraved, starts the engine. A limited edition Porsche Type 7 Project (the project internal codename that gave birth to the 911) is attached to the rear deck grille.

The luggage compartment is covered in the same interior carpet, with notes in the same Brown Pepita fabric, not forgetting the inclusion of the tool case to house the original tool kit in black leather and pepita fabric.

A +2 year project, around 17,000 hours, which resulted in an even more exclusive example than the already exclusive Porsche 911 SWB.
