The Porsche 911 Targa is a heart-stopping beauty from the beloved (late) 1960s. When petrol stations were still served, cigarettes graced the birthday table and hippy culture challenged norms.

The iconic Targa top combines the thrill of driving with the sun on your crown, the sleek look of the Targa Bar and the convenience of a hardtop. The nice thing about this one is that this is a custom-made project. The previous owner put his heart and soul into this gem and gave it all the attention it needed.

Das Fahrzeug im Detail

Now let’s talk about its uniqueness, starting with the colour. Wunchfarbe Kristalblau, one of the rarest colours on demand, only delivered by Porsche for a limited number of years. Reportedly, only a total of 75(!!!) examples left the Porsche factory in Stuttgart in this colour. Restored to perfection. Everything, not only new and fresh, but closing with perfect seams all around.

But the big party takes place in the 3.0-litre engine. And no, this is not a circle gathering with cheese and sausages in plastic trays, but a blast party that will be observed for years to come.

This stunning specimen is fitted with a 3.0-litre powerhouse. Which features new high compression pistons combined with 6 ITBs. Aka ‚individual throttle bodies‘ that provide an impressive amount of speed. Also, a computer-controlled injection ensures optimal fuel distribution. The computer controls, via a custom-made wiring harness, the right cylinder at the exact moment with the perfect amount of fuel (this is called sequential injection). All this controlled by sensors and adjusted in real time by the computer if necessary. The party is completed with a racing flywheel and a custom gearbox for seamless ‚Schnell‘ shifting.

This set-up, together with stabis all round, makes for an unprecedented driving experience. The car ‚hangs‘ on the throttle and responds like no other to any toe pressure. The all-stainless steel exhaust system provides the necessary aural icing on the cake. Trust us, many bystanders will break their necks.

Step into the driver’s seat, and prepare yourself for an explosion between past class and contemporary technology. A win-win situation.
