Originally registered on May 20th, 1980, this 911 SC Targa entered police service on January 16th, 1981 under the call sign ALEX 1279, operating with the Dutch „Rijkspolitie Afdeling Bijzondere Verkeerstaken“ (Special Highway Patrol) until around 1986–87.
It wore Dutch plate FZ-10-PL and was part of a legendary high-speed intervention fleet.
In 2007, the car found its last private owner in Belgium, who undertook a meticulous and fully documented restoration. The body was stripped and professionally repainted in its original Grand Prix White (908).
A renowned Dutch specialist reapplied the correct Rijkspolitie livery based on original references.
This car is equipped with an astonishing level of period-correct police details, including:

- Rectangular siren horn on rear decklid (white, as per 1980 spec)
- Functional blue siren light on authentic aluminium mount
- Targa rollbar without vents, as originally built

The odometer shows 235,000 km, with only 135,000 km on the engine. The gearbox is matching numbers, confirmed by an expert appraisal.
