Only one year of production for this 911 G series announcing the future developments of the Porsche 911, namely a convertible body and all-wheel drive. If the second only came as standard on the 911 type 964 of the third generation, the 911 SC convertible series was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1982. However, production did not begin until ten months later, in January 1983. 1984 vintage, it becomes 911 Carrera 3.2 cabriolet.
With the 911 SC / Carrera 3.2 convertible, Porsche returned to this completely open bodywork that it had abandoned in 1965 with the discontinuation of the 356 convertible. The first generation Porsche 911 Targa was also a convertible. But its large roll bar and its rear window changed from removable to fixed make it more of a coupe with a removable roof than a true convertible.
This new body gives new life to the career of the 911 G series. This convertible is popular.
Frankreich
This 911 SC cabriolet has been sold ne in North Carolina at the Raleigh dealership, it moved to Texasin 84 then in 91 to California where it stayed until 2017 moving to Florida then to France where it was shipped in 2018, as the car stayed in dry states in the hands of meticulous owners the car condition is fantastic and has always been serviced.
The color combination in slate blue metallic, blue leather and blue hood is rare and match very well, the original Fuchs wheels have been deeply polished.
The car has been fully checked and will be delivered with a big Porsche dealer service.
Last service was done at Porsche Germany as the ex owner is working there and the clutch has been replaced lately.
It is coming with all accessories, books, spare keys, French TÜV, carfax, hood cover and Porsche certificate of authenticity.
