A 2.4-liter 911E MFI engine is currently installed in the car, and the numbers-matching engine is included with the sale of the vehicle. The original engine can be rebuilt to desired specifications and reinstalled in the car if the new owner prefers. The 915 gearbox is restored to the same high level with new dog teeth, new synchros, new seals, new bearings, and new gaskets.
Preferred upgrades include aftermarket hollow torsion bars, Euro Carrera MFI aluminum trailing arms, Elephant Racing suspension bushings, Turbo tie rods, Bilstein HD dampers, 15mm front anti-roll bar and pair of stainless steel heat exchangers.
Upon arrival at CPR Classic, the car was thoroughly sorted, addressing minor items such as hood adjustment, MFI tune, new Dansk exhaust, and electrical sorting followed by a meticulous detail. The car is now a fully sorted, turn-key example that is ready to be shown or driven for many worry-free miles to come.
The car has extensive documentation covering all facets of the restoration and parts included in the build The documentation also includes a spare set of keys and owners manual.
Long-hood 911s offer near-modern performance and ergonomics in a small, agile package. This example has been finished to a very high level, and Aubergine is one of the most desirable colors for early 911s. If you are in the market for a show-level, ready-to-drive, long-hood 911 this is a must-consider example.
