This Porsche 911 3.3 Turbo was delivered in Turin in 1983: Grand Prix White (color code 908) over black leather interiors, Recaro sport seats, sunroof, air conditioning, right rear-view mirror, alarm system. The original engine is still into the car – matching numbers.
In March 1985 this 930 Turbo was brought to RUF in Pfaffenhausen to get a power kit (invoice is available). The car received the typical RUF front bumper and air intakes on the rear wings.
In January 1989 the gentleman driver Maurizio Orsini purchased the Turbo to take part into the Porsche Challenge. He raced the championship in 1989, 1990 and 1991, he was very competitive and got several successful results – widely documented in period car magazines, Auto Sprint and Rombo. The car was prepped by the famous Team Orlando Redolfi.
In 1998 the 930 Turbo became part of a collection in Milano. Later on in 2019 a complete overhaul of the engine and chassis was commissioned to Porsche Pedrengo Service Center, Orlando Redolfi Preparations (invoice available).
It starts, runs, shifts, drives and handles excellently, with excellent power delivery – this 930 turbo represents the Porsche sports icon of the 80s and it is an excellent basis for a period-correct customization.
