The car presents very well indeed. Grand Prix white (original colour) body is very nice; especially notable, no corrosion, no signs of panel changes (accident), excellent panel gaps and fit. Only the addition of the race style front spoiler strays from original. Under the trunk it’s the same story, clean, undamaged, original and again, the underside of the car is clean and free from corrosion. It has all the hallmarks of a low km, dry usage, carefully maintained Porsche.
Inside you have very nice dash, no cracks and clear instruments. Original carpets and really good original leather. The speedo (tacho) shows 109,700 kilometers and after 25+ years of handling these, everything we see would support that the low km is correct. The maintenance book and records are not with the car, although that isn’t so unusual for the Japanese with their desire for privacy.
The engine has only recently (2,000 km ago) been rebuilt at a cost of £6,336 by a marque specialist in the UK to resolve leaks commonplace on these models at this age. The invoice is detailed and comes with the car, along with the UK MOT’s, our report and works we have carried out. We are happy to share and discuss our own report which reveals some minor items that you can tackle as, if, or when you want. There’s nothing of great importance. This is a 911 you can use and enjoy immediately.
Behind the wheel this 930 impresses. The performance is formidable, but most of all, it’s the engagement with the machine that is so addictive. The way it comes on boost (0.8 bar) and flies towards the horizon without effort in any gear. Show it a corner and it’s flatter and more stable than a standard 930. It has the benefit of the factory option (M220) limited slip differential, plus the suspension is original torsion bar with upgraded H&R coil over performance shock absorbers. There is factory air con (service recommended) and sunroof. Original tool roll, jack and spare wheel. There is nothing not to like.

This late 930 4 speed scores strongly on condition, colour, interior, specification, kilometerage and recent engine build. This is one to keep, continue to enjoy and maintain. It will pay you back with life experiences and in all probability, benefit you financially.
